I was invited to Old South Church, Windsor ,Vermont in June, as part of my work with Soul Marks. I was sharing some of my experience of art, space and worship through a talk, workshop and Sunday service. I often, as I did there show ’a year in the life of St. James’ - how we all take part in changing our space each season - to encourage others that they can do it too !! People are often excited at the possibilities -
if not also a little worried that I am going to whip out paint brushes and a pot of purple paint!
So It thought I share some of the photos of what St. James is encouraging and influencing elsewhere. A few weeks before Vermont it was Drumchapel !

Perhaps we could nail the pews to the ceiling, and fill them with tailor’s dummies?
And then find a theological justification for it!
Advent? No…
Easter? No…
…tricky one.
